Subscription Box Reviews : FANCY, Social Bliss, Fantasy Box, C&C

Being a little bored by beauty and makeup lately...if that's not evident by the dust collecting on the blog ;) I've been expanding my subscription boxes to include a variety of my other areas of interest like style & jewelry. You've gotta love the explosion of subscription boxes out now, there is seriously a box for evvvverything. Maybe you'll discover a new one to subscribe to :)

This is a combined review of the subscription boxes I've received in April. Social Bliss Style Box, FANCY Mystery Box for Women, The Fantasy Box (Warning: This one is for Adult eyes only),  and Cate & Chloe , & Bezel covering pretty jewel's.

Keep Reading for April Subscription Box Reviews

Mystery Box
FANCY Medium Mystery Box for Women ($20)
FANCY's are by far my favorite subscription boxes available, I reviewed the P!nk curated box here. They now offer one time purchase Mystery boxes for both Men & Women that value from $10-$40 depending on the size small, medium, or large. Each features surprise items shown on fancy.com

Even if you don't want to subscribe to a box you should JOIN fancy anyways, it's such an awesome app/site for browsing and buying totally cool stuff :) I visit there at least once a day.
I received the FANCY Medium Mystery Box for Women and it's a good one! Inside was a Colorstrology Book, Hello Darling Stationery, and a Japonesque 150 degree foundation brush. For being a mystery I think they may be peeping what I fancy there because it was right up my alley.

Fellow astrology geeks will love The Colorstrology Book. It tells what your birthday color says about you. Such a fun and colorful book to keep out on the table for your friends to flip through.
These Hello Darling flat notes are so charming and perfect for writing thank you notes.

How cool does this 150 degrees foundation brush from Japonesque look? The flat head design is so different from your typical foundation brush, looking forward to trying this one out.

Snoop Dogg Fancy Box
All of the items in my mystery box were pretty great and the price is so affordable. I had over $60 value in products in my $20 box. Definitely check out the regular FANCY boxes too, they are the best there is when it comes to variety and uniqueness.
Snoop Dogg has curated one that I NEED to subscribe to.

SOCIALBLISS The Style Box ($39.95 + s&h)
The Style Box features over $100 worth of one size fits all fashion accessories & lifestyle products. A variety of on-trend items are in each Style Box, some of which you’ll see on the Socialbliss site, others are emerging hot items not yet available to the public.

Each month's box has a different theme based around a style icon's quote. April's theme centers around the Coco Chanel quote: “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”

Inside my April The Style Box:
Izzy & Ali Socialite's Night Out Bag ($129)
Izzy & Ali is a vegan handbag company based in Los Angles. This bag is gorgeous, it's medium in size and has that buttery soft feel that a good quality bag has. I was hoping I'd get black or navy, but I ended up really liking this greyish color with the gold chain and accents. It works very well with casual outfits and can be worn throughout the seasons.
Touch of Sparkle Cubic Zirconia Earrings ($50)
I don't normally wear earrings except for stud's but I liked these, they weren't too large or flashy and will go great with a little black dress. They do seem slightly overvalued though.
Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara ($15)
Holy grail mascara. I reviewed BTS here and it still holds it's place as number one. Now I won't have to repurchase for awhile, thanks Social Bliss!

The Little Black Compact ($5), Girls Night Out Nail Art Kit ($7)
This small mirrored rose compact is great for tossing in your bag for touchups. I've never been a nail art girl but I'm gonna give it a go with this kit from Stella.

The Style Box was my favorite box this month. From the lovely designer clutch to a deluxe size of my favorite mascara ever...yeah it was straight AWESOME opening this. The value is over $200 and just that clutch alone makes it worth it. They seem to include designer handbags in the boxes quite frequently, it's a convenient and inexpensive way to build your collection.

C&C gives you two of their most popular jewelry pieces delivered to your door every 15 days (twice a month). The total jewelry pieces are valued at over $200. As someone who doesn't splurge on myself for jewelry, I stick to mostly rock-spired every day type stuff, this subscription is great for adding mid-end classic pieces to my collection.

My first piece from Cate & Chloe were the Devin "Divine" Stud Earrings ($120). These CZ stone earring's on silver posts are stunning, they sparkle like your eyes, and could easily be mistaken for the real deal.
Versatile about these earrings is that the outer circular removes so you can also wear them as simple studs. The quality is high and they look and feel expensive.

I'd definitely recommend C&C's VIP Box if you're looking for elegant higher quality jewelry. With the split delivery it equals to about $20 for $100 value jewelry. Your first month you get an additional third piece of jewelry, if something doesn't work out there's free exchanges and returns. With a subscription you also get 20% off any of the jewelry in their store. I loved the simple timeless pieces Cate & Chloe had to offer, hoping I'll get one of the pendent necklaces like this tear drop Diana "Divine" Necklace in my next box...so beautiful!

Bezel Box ($29.97)
Another jewelry box! The Bezel Box. This one features 4-5 pieces of trendy every day jewelry. I loved the packaging of this, the pink and black polka dot was just so fun and girlie.

Nude Studded Snap Cuff Bracelet
Chandelier Earrings
Bezel box was a miss for me. The nude studded snap bracelet was my style but the rest I didn't like at all. The beaded bliss necklace...yeesh. no thanks. The earrings felt really cheap and irritated my ears right away and the ring had a beautiful blue stone but was ruined by the tacky gold exterior. For the almost $30 price tag I didn't feel the jewelry quality was up to par.

************WARNING: The next box contains Adult Content that may not be suitable for those under 18. *******
The Fantasy Box ($59)
The Fantasy Box is by far the sexiest subscription box. Each month they send an adult-themed box with a different fantasy and the goods inside to complete the fantasy. It was created for couples to introduce a new level of fun and communication in to their sex lives with out stress, guilt, or judgement. I guarantee your significant other will not complain about subscription addiction when you have this box on delivery :)

Definitely appreciate the discreet mailer when it comes to a box like this! It was delivered in a regular brown shipping box. The subscription box itself is quite stylish, I kept it for storage.

The Fantasy Box isn't just another throw in a bunch of sexy items and samples, it's full of quality full size items. It's also not just for women. Inside is a survey for couples a "his" & "hers" and "leader" and "follower" so you can learn things you might never knew about each other, get out of the comfort zone, and explore the contents together as a couple. Each box is progressive so your fantasies will build with every new box. I won't spoil it by divulging the questions or scenario :)

I received the Classic Box ($59) There's also the Essentials ($34) and Platinum ($159) level boxes.

The Classic Fantasy Box:

Renee Rofe Lingerie Set
Le Reve Waterproof Personal Massager
DONA Aphrodisiac Infused Massage Candle
Sex Mischief Black Blind Fold
Sliquid Organic Botanically Infused Lubricant
The lingerie set was adorable, I loved the baby pink and black color combo and it didn't look or feel cheap. I like chemises like this cause they cover the parts I don't like the middle while showing off the assets. Mine was a little small up top but that's just DD Girl probs right? You do get to choose your size with your subscription.
The DONA soy-based candle smells incredible, a yummy citrusy scent. Light it for about a half hour and then use the warm wax as a massage oil. We'll keep it PG here, even if you're not in to toys or blind folds they can double as a sleeping mask and body massager. Sliquid lubricant is all natural, glycerin, and paraben free which is appreciated.

As my first "sexy box" I was impressed with the fantasy box. The contents were playfully romantic, carefully thought out, and not trashy at all. It brings a little something extra to a date night and I think even the single girl would enjoy this box. It's a fab way to treat yourself to something sensual.
