My Favorite Product of 2018: STILA Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

I am in love with all the shimmer and mettalics of the Holidays. Finally! Mattes are taking a beack seat! Most notable is my love for the Stila Liquid Glitter & Glow Eyeshadow's These liquid eyeshadows are one of my absolute favorite makeup products to come out in recent years and definitely my top product of 2018. I guarantee you will want these for your Holiday makeup looks and beyond. I will have one of these babies on my eyes tonight for NYE!
Eye for Elegance Set contains:
- 3 x 0.07 oz/ 2.25 mL NEW Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows in Kitten (vibrant nude pink), Grace (rose gold), Twig (warm chestnut brown)
- 3 x 0.07 oz/ 2.25 mL Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows in Peachy Sheen (sheer warm peachy beige; silver and gold glitter), Smoldering Satin (deep tan; silver glitter), Next to Notte (deep red; pink glitter)

These shadows feature a lightweight, water-infused formula that glides on effortlessly and dries down smoothly and comfortably. The unique combination of varying sizes of pearl and glitter offer maximum sparkle with minimal fallout. The Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows offer a dazzling, ultra-sparkle finish, while the new Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows offer a high-shimmer, non-glitter finish.

Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow is a long-wearing, sparkle eyeshadow with the perfect blend of pearl and glitter to leave your eyes with incredible luster and shimmer. With its uniquely lightweight, water-infused texture, it glides on effortlessly, then dries down smoothly, locking in maximum sparkle with minimal fallout for elevated eye looks. These basically feel like appyling lipgloss to your eyes, except less sticky! They go on smooth, even, and dry down fairly quickly. I notice a litle burning sensation when they're wet. I was concerned that meant my sensitive eyes wouldn't like these. After they dried though they were fine and my eyes weren't irritated.

Straight from the tube they apply intense, for a more natural finish try dabbing them on to sheer them out for a softer look. The glitter was hard to capture but I promise they are glittery gorge on the eyes!

The glitters are perfection! As a glitter fall-out hater I love these. You get that super sparkly look of glitter with out the irritating mess. They dry down to budge-proof but the glitter isn't dulled. Smoldering Satin was my favorite. It reminded me a lot of UD's Midnight Cowboy. Peachy Sheen was a little dissapointing because of the sheer base, but will work for a understated glitter look or as a topper. Next to Notte is intense! It would make an awesome punk rock glitter eye.

My favorite's were definitely the glow shades. It makes getting a brightened eye look so easy. No fuss or blending involved. Kitten is one of my forever favorite classic shades from Stila so I love that they put it in a liquid formula. I wear this sweet glowy champagne pink almost daily. I also love Grace, which they describe as rose gold but to me it's just a shimmering cool taupe. The dark shades like Twig are intense! So be prepared to go smokey with those. These last all day with out fading, creasing, or budging. Stila liquid eyeshadows get a YES from me. Look for the gift sets out right now. They are an ideal way to try out multiple shades at an affordable cost. These are absolutely worth full though for the full sizes, I have already picked up 6 more. May 2019 be full of shimmer and glitter!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Is it too bold to say this is the only eyeshadow palette you will need this Holiday Season? I think not! Since I picked this bronze glittery jewel up it is all I have been wearing on my eyes. Sultry Eyeshadow Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills is an essential smoky eye shadow palette with fourteen shades ranging from golden mattes to bronzy metallics. While Sultry isn't a completely "cool" palette, it actually has some cool tones and bucks the trend of boring repetitive warm matte eyeshadows. That is enough for me! Lets take a look!

This is my first Anastasia palette purchase in ages. While all of the previous ones looked wonderful in terms of quality they were heavily warm or purple toned. Two things I absolutely hate. When I saw Sultry I knew it had to be mine. I picked it up on the day it was released and have had it in heavy rotation ever since.

Bonus points for the gorgeous packaging Anastasia. Most of the time the way something looks doesn't effect me one way or another, but this packaging is too dang pretty. That bronze sparkly business is sealed in so there won't be glitter dust over everything. It looks so fancy and makes you want to pick it up over all the others. Not to mention, with the texture it eliminates any fingerprints or product from lingering on the outside. I also love that Anastasia doesn't make their palette's overly bulky so they are easy to store.

These shadows feature Anastasia Beverly Hills’ signature full-pigment, and easy-to-blend formula. They are not kidding. Every shade from matte to shimmer feels like liquid silk gliding effortlessly over the lids and buffing out easily. The palette also includes double-ended brush for effortless application. The dual ended brush is dense and soft and perfect for blending out the shadows.

I am completely in love with this palette. The shadows pigment and blendability is incredible. I would have paid $20 for each one of these eyeshadows they are that good. Thankfully, this palette only runs $45 which is a great deal.

Color-wise, Sultry is fantastic for a cool-toned lover like myself. It gives you those necessary matte cool toned shades that I personally love for crease and defining the eyes. There is also warmth in here too, it is just not done in that obnoxious everything orange way. I would go as far to say it's almost equally split. This is a refined and sophisticated color palette that can be worn outside of Instagram and outside of the house with out looking ridiculous. I hope this is a sign that eyeshadow palettes are cooling off again.

  • Fresh (matte ivory pink)
  • Pearl (metallic pearl-white w/ a soft pink undertone)
  • Steampunk (metallic topaz bronze)
  • Rose Quartz (metallic soft peach w/ a pink shift)
  • Ember (metallic bronzed khaki)
  • Bloom (matte coral pink)
  • Birch (matte mid-tone yellow-taupe)
  • Cinder (metallic cool-tone beige taupe w/ gold flecks)
  • Twig (matte mid-tone taupe)
  • Teak (metallic golden brown)
  • Dystopian (matte dark ash-brown)
  • Cyborg (metallic silver w/ a violet undertone)
  • Slate (matte slate grey)
  • Noir (matte deep black)
This palette is marketed as sexy, and smokey and while it can be you can also create some beautiful wearable neutral looks with it as well. There is no skimping on the smokey though. and Noir are super intense matte shades that go on just as intense. Bloom is the odd man out here, I don't think they needed this bright matte coral shade but it does add some flare to a rather regular neutrals palette.

The best thing ever though is those shimmers. They are STUNNING. So shimmery and sparkly with out being garish. Cyborg is a star, it is the more incredible silvery lavender metallic that looks so good on my green eyes. The other shades are warmer, golden, browns that work beautifully for Fall and just everyday makeup in general. Steampunk is an awesome gold. The only fault I could find with the whole palette is some of the shimmer shades have some minimal sparkles fall out. This is pretty easily rememdied by applying with your finger. I think they go on more intense that way anyways.

Can't say enough good things about the Anastasia Sultry Palette! This is a fantastic palette with gorgeous colors and perfect color payoff. Definitely put it in your cart NOW! Sephora has the $15-$20 off going on right now and Ulta has 20% Off. It's the one gift I would give yourself!

Tone your Face with Suzanne Somers FaceMaster & Organic Skincare

This post is in partnership with PRIMP Network. Products have been provided by Suzanne Somers. All opinions are my own.

Suzanne Somers, originally known for the Thigh Master, has a brand new product - the FaceMaster! It is used to tone and lift the face without any invasive treatments. As I embrace my mid 30's, with that comes aging. This isn't a bad thing, it's normal! I have noticed my smile lines and the lines near my eyes slightly more pronounced. I have said it before, but I am not a believer in plastic surgery. Botox, fillers, or any extreme anti-aging treatments are not in my future. I have seen so many women fall in to the media and social media trap of needing invasive procedures in their 30's-40's and they either look older or unrecognizable. My aim is to age naturally and treat my skin to an anti-aging skincare routine that makes me feel good at any age. Alongside the FaceMaster, I am trying out more products from Suzanne's organic skincare line which I am still loving!

Suzanne Somers, an actress, author, singer, and businesswoman, was diagnosed with cancer, and immediately decided she needed to cut toxins from her life. She was shocked to discover how many chemicals are used in the name of beauty. After overcoming many personal obstacles, she aimed to give herself and others healthy alternatives, by launching the SUZANNE Organics line. Suzanne strives to reduce chemicals and dangerous substances from our lives, and this is something we can get behind. Now with dozens of natural products, Suzanne advocates the benefits of chemical-free beauty and at-home treatments that are valuable to women.

Suzanne Organic Skin Care won't strip the skin’s precious moisture. Designed to nurture with antioxidants and hydrate. Look and feel your best with the super food treatment moisturizer, loaded with natural botanical active ingredients like CoQ10, Argan Oil, and Sea Buckhorn Berry. Now that there is a dry chill in the air I have turned to the BioActive Moisturizer once again. It really is effective when cold air and indoor heat suck the life out of your skin. I love how this moisturizer sinks right in to the skin with out the heavy, greasy feel that some anti-aging moisturizers can have. It works beautifully for my Combination skin.

The anti-aging eye cream diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and improves microcirculation, decreasing the appearance of dark under-eye circles. I often have trouble with eye cream because of my sensitive eyes. This doesn't irritate my skin or eyes and keeps my under eyes feeling hydrated.

Another skincare winner in the Suzanne Organics line is the Recovery Mask. Relax your skin with this plumping, calming, anti-aging formula Recovery Mask designed as a stress antidote for your face. It helps skin to maintain its tone and smooths out the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. While this has the appearance of a traditional mud mask it is much more soothing and hydrating.

Pop the Lip Balm in to your cart too! It is super hydrating, lightweight, and moisturizing with just a hint of orange vanilla scent. This has become a Fall staple, I put it under all my lip colors.

Suzanne was looking for a natural process without the surgery, and came across this incredible new microcurrent facial technology! It's an all natural way to target the visible signs of aging by lifting, tightening, and toning! Like a non surgical facelift, microcurrent therapy is used in the world's most elite spas and cosmetic medical offices to fight wrinkles, crows feet, and puppet lines. If any one knows how to age gracefully it's Suzanne!

It is no secret that I love beauty gadgets. I could not wait to try out the FaceMaster! Anything that looks safely crazy is awesome in my book. I thought the device might be intimidating at first but it really wasn't at all. The instructions were easy to follow and I had the hang of it pretty quickly.

The FaceMaster gives you professional style treatments with the affordability and convenience of an at-home machine. The medical and technical team behind the revolutionary creation of FaceMaster have compiled years of research on how FaceMaster, with Advanced "Wave" Microcurrent Technology, can deliver affordable and beautiful results without invasive procedures. The only drawback to Microcurrent Therapy in the past has been that it's expensive - but with the FaceMaster Facial Toning Device, that's not a problem any more.

FaceMaster helps support the skin's firmness, texture and reduces the appearance of fine lines. It contains a proprietary, specialized bi-phase symmetric square wave waveform specifically designed for optimal face muscle toning. It tightens all 22 face muscles!

The two wands are dipped in to a serum before you start. The serum feels nice on the skin, light and not sticky. The wands are easy to maneuver and the feeling is of a gentle facial massage. There is no pain or odd sensations, just a pulsating feel with light pressure.

What is unique about the FaceMaster is you can use it near the eyes which a lot of other devices can not do. Mine, and many women's wrinkle concerns are the crow's feet and small lines around the eyes that makeup annoyingly settles in to and makes us look older. The wands massage the serum right in to those little lines plumping them up as if they didn't exist at all.

The idea of tightening your facial muscles makes a lot of sense. I mean we work out to strengthen our body muscles why not our face? While I do not have significant loss of firmness in my face or deep wrinkles at this point. I do have smile lines, though to me that is just a sign of a happy life. Some light forehead wrinkles and and under eye lines. As I have been using the FaceMaster I have noticed a a firming around my smile lines and my forehead smoother. My skin felt plumper and looked more refreshed.

I can see myself adding the FaceMaster in to my anti-aging routine a couple times a week too. Seeing a difference with just the first use I am hooked. It is one of those tools I can take out while watching Sunday night TV for 15-20 minutes in the same way I would do a face mask. I think I will to pass this on to my Mom for a bit to see how it works for her too.

Aging doesn't have to be scary! With the addition of great skincare like Suzanne Organics and the FaceMaster and it actually makes it a little fun! Hey, beats the acne of our teens right? Now I just wish they made a body version of this...oh wait, they do! The ThighMaster! :)

Urban Decay NAKED Cherry Collection Review & Swatches

The wait is over! The highly anticipated Urban Decay NAKED Cherry Collection is here and it's sultry and ripe for a picking! The most sultry naked palette yet contains 12 never-before picked neutrals. This cherry-hued palette will inspire your most tempting eye looks ever! Also in the collection are three new VICE lipstick shades, two 24/7 Liners, Naked Cherry Highlight Palette, while All Nighter Setting Spray gets a cherry scented upgrade that you're going to LOVE! Lets check it out!

Can we just have a moment for this awesome PR packaging. This has to be the sweetest way to package a collection I have ever seen!

Urban Decay NAKED CHERRY Eyeshadow Palette ($49)
This is our wildest way yet to look better Naked…Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette has a sexy vibe that’s more tart than sweet. With 12 never-before-picked neutrals, this vamped-up cherry-hued palette is sure to bring out your sultriest, most tempting eye looks ever.

These 12 all-new shades include of-the-moment soft mattes and sizzling metallic, ranging from creamy ivory and shimmering rose gold to the most intense black cherry. We’re addicted to Bing—a deep mauve matte that is right on trend. And we can’t get enough of Drunk Dial, a shimmery metallic burgundy that takes smoky looks to a smoldering climax.

Because serious staying power and shadow that doesn’t flake or fade out on you are non-negotiables, each shade is made from our mind-blowing formula that gives its velvety texture, rich color and blendability.

Adorned with a row of metallic cherries, the crimson compact includes a full-size mirror and double-sided brush—ready for precision application on one end and seamless blending on the other. Whether you’re at the office, in between flights or getting ready at the apartment, Naked Cherry spices up everything from chill neutrals and sexy shimmers to super smoky eyes.

This palette totally embodies cherries, though some may say it's a bit more cranberry. Sometimes UD describes their palette one way and it ends up totally different. Hello, the not-cool-toned BackTalk palette. NAKED Cherry hits the mark in color palette.

Where it falls short is in pigmentation. NAKED Cherry doesn't stand up to par with previous Naked Palettes. The matte shades were much more dusty and chalky than I have experienced from my other Naked's in the past. That aside, it's still really good. My favorite colors in this palette were the shimmers Turn On, Ambitious, and Drunk Dial. I also really liked the matte shades Feelz and Devilish. Both shades have a gorgeous warmth to them that really make them pop as a crease shade. Being fair, cool toned cherry red shades can look a little sickly on me. This is not he best palette for me personally, but I still really loved the cherry cola color palette.

NAKED Cherry Highlight & Blush Palette ($34)
Creating a luscious glow is as easy as pie with our Naked Cherry Highlight and Blush Palette. This sweet-and-tart trio includes one highlighter, a universally flattering blush and a super-sophisticated iridescent complexion topper that can be worn solo or as a shimmering overlay to add the ultimate luminous glow. Use these lightweight, jet-milled shades separately or mix them together to create your own custom glow (with a luxurious, flawless-looking finish).

This palette is similar style to the one released with Kristin Leanne. It houses two highlight shades and one blush. The blush is a warm, candy apple red that looks like a pretty just in from the cold flush. The swatches of the highlight shades do not do this justice. It is INTENSE. The white has a soft pink shimmer and the champagne is super flattering with a hint of gold. They look lovely mixed together too. As i wore this through out the week...I hated it! WHAT? The blush is so hardly packed in that when you try to apply the blush it just sits in one big cherry spot on your cheek. It does not blend out AT ALL. The highlights are pretty, but super intense even with the lightest hand. If you are looking for an extreme highlight you will love this, but don't get it for the blush.

24/7 Eyeliner Pencils Black Market & Love Drug ($21)
Intensify your Cherry eye look with two all-new eyeliner shades in Urban Decay’s award-winning, waterproof formula. Love Drug is a deep, metallic wine shade, and Black Market is a rich, black with a satin finish (each shade sold separately). Both look amazing as winged liner or on your tight line. UD 24/7 are my favorite pencil liners. I really loved Black Market because it is slightly less intense than their other black liners Zero and Perversion. It has more of a matte, satiny finish that isn't overpowering. Love Drug is pretty too! There isn't too much red in the color and it also has that somewhat softer color finish.

Naked Cherry VICE Lipstick ($18)
Make it a real treat and finish your juicy Naked Cherry look with three limited-edition matching shades of Vice Lipstick. Our cult-favorite formula delivers super-creamy texture, rich payout and superior color dispersion.

Yummy shades include Juicy, a light peach-pink with copper micro-shimmer; Devilish, a berry pink with tonal micro-shimmer; and Cherry, a deep berry wine.

You can never go wrong with VICE lipstick, ever. They are my favorite lipstick's and I really don't use anything except UD for lipstick any more. I have to say though I wasn't that floored by these shades. Yummy looked exactly like the LE released from the Beached Collection, Devilish too similar to Big Bang, and Cherry like all of the rest of the dark vampy wine's UD already offers.

I really wish they would have ditched the look at me mettalized finish and brought us a gorgeous juicy cherry pink or an actual shade similar to the eyeshadow shadow Devilish in Naked Cherry. I know they can make some awesome eclectic lip colors, but why neglect a great classic wearable pink or berry in the process? Of the three I would get Cherry, it's a luscious creamy wine lip color that you can't go wrong with in the Fall.

All Nighter Travel-size Cherry Scented Setting Spray ($15)
Don’t have a meltdown: The All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray you know (and are obsessed with) gets a cherry-scented upgrade. This Travel-Size All Nighter Cherry Scented Makeup Setting Spray looks fresh as hell and is made to travel, so it slips easily into your purse or beauty bag. Made with patented Temperature Control Technology and suitable for all skin types, the bestie-in-a-bottle always delivers a microfine mist that keeps makeup looking gorgeously just-applied for up to 16 hours. Our favorite setting spray cherry scented? yes please! I'm not normally a fan of scents in makeup in any way, but I do like Too Faced Sweet Peach stuff a lot. I was hoping it would be like that. No, it smells like cherry Nyquil you guys. Very fake chemical scented. Luckily it fades pretty quickly.

NAKED Cherry Collection will top your makeup list! So my final thoughts on this collection are: The NAKED Cherry Palette is a fantastic selection of cranberry shades. It is not an every day palette, but definitely specialty colors that work beautifully together. The highlight palette is a no-go and I would skip the lipstick's if you already have something similar. Pick up the setting spray if you need an on the go travel setting spray for cold season! ;) 24/7 Eyeliners are always a safe bet and these two shades are no exception. NAKED Cherry Palette is the real star of this collection, and as it should be!
