I have been patiently waiting for the MAC Marilyn Monroe collection since the rumor's started swirling and it finally launches online at maccosmetics.com today! (in stores October 4th.)

Blog (end of) Summer Vacation

For the next few weeks I'll be vacationing in Hawaii, I can't wait! No one wants to be staring at a screen with a beach view like that right? I'm hoping to get a few things drafted, but lets be real, makeup is the last thing thing on my mind :) I hope you guys are winding down on a beautiful summer. FOTD: Ruby Ruby Ruby Soho.. MAC V Festival Red Eyeliner Face Chart

Enough is enough with this bronzed and boring summer sh*t right? I'm ready for Fall and some "me" makeup. Today's look process went from throw on rancid tee...hum ruby soho while painting face..end up with red mettalic eyeliner and red lips, or rather MAC's V Festival Face Chart. I love combining unexpected elements with classic styles and this one hits the mark.

Because Red Eyeliner isn't one everyone has on hand you can make your own with shadow's. I used MAC Basic Red Pigment (PRO) mixed with mixing medium and applied with an angle brush. For the mettalic effect I traced over it with a chrome red liquid eyeliner. The liquid liner is from a Hot Topic brand that was phased out, but similar options would be Make Up Forever Aqua Liner #10 & Inglot matte Gel Eyeliner #79
