Urban Decay Liquid MOONDUST Eyeshadow Review & Swatches
Last review of 2016 and it's a fitting one for NYE! Can’t get enough of Moondust, planet Earth’s sparkliest shadow? Brace yourself, because now there’s a whole new way to satisfy your sparkle addiction. Introducing Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow, a super-versatile cream version of the innovative formula you know and love.
Like UD's pressed Moondust shadows, Liquid Moondust contains microfine bits of iridescent sparkle and lush 3-D metallics—for a gorgeous, diamond-like effect. Create subtler looks or layer and build the formula for more intense 3-D metallic effects. For all-over sparkle, lay the color down quickly and blend it out.
The space nerd in me loves this packaging. It almost glows when the light hits the holographic parts.
Whether you want to add just a hit of sparkle at the lash line or layer color over the lid, the slim, precise brush does it all. The tubes themselves are great. Sleek with a tiny brush applicator. For a liquid eyeshadow I would have liked these to be doe foot, but I do like the brush because they can double as an eyeliner too.
When I was swatching these it was so weird. Some went on so smooth with intense pigmentation, while others came out watery with uneven color and glitter. I tried shaking the tube, same result. They seem to be inconsistent depending on the shade you get. I had the best results with Spacetime, Zap, and Zodiac. However, after reading up more about them I discovered some are actually meant to be sheer and not full coverage so this isn't a blunder in the formula it's how they are supposed to be.
I really like the concept of the Liquid Moondusts. I despise getting glitter everywhere and I think they would work out brilliantly for those with sensitive eyes. Being past my days of wearing glitter eyeshadow these are a sophisticated way to wear sparkle with out it looking too garish or immature.
These glimmering shadows are a delightful way to dress up the eyes. I will be sporting a couple of these on my eyes tonight! Happy New Years!

Mirabella Beauty Masquerade Collection Review
Everyone loves a little bit of mystery, which inspired the rich textures and colors of the Mirabella Masquerade Collection for Holiday 2016. This small but brilliant collection allows you to create looks that exude sophistication and holiday glamour. You will want this collection for your Holiday party looks!
Masquerade includes brand new Eye Lights. Luxury Prismatech peformance shadow that delivers bold payoff without compromising on ingredients. Prismatech long-lasting mineral formula means absolutely no more layering for color payoff! Instant color release and shimmering light-weight even application in three beautiful pearlized shades.
These shadows are just gorgeous to look at with their prismatic shine and the imprinted texture. With mineral shadows they can sometimes be much like a pressed pigment, powdery with a lot of fallout. Eyelights do not have that issue at all, they offer high shine pigmentation with a smooth formula. The jewel-tones are simply gorgeous for the Fall/Holiday season letting you pick your favorite glamour shade and pair it with just about anything. What I enjoy most is that they're not garishly glittery, they just give a gorgeous mettalic shine. Gilt is a stunning pale gold and my pick from the collection.
That stunning gold shade is made for pairing with Modern Matte Lipstick ($26) in Crimson, also a part of the collection. Mirabella makes some of my favorite hydrating, balmy lipsticks. They hydrate the lips and are so comfortable to wear. Crimson is a mysteriously beautiful deep slightly bright red that flatters all skintones.
Not a part of the collection, but I wanted to give it a mention because the Quick Brow Powder ($25) could pull a whole look from this collection together. I am normally a pencil girl and love Mirabella's eyebrown pencils, but this impressed me. It's so easy to apply and gives such a beautiful definition to the brows. There is two shades, light/medium and dark. Light/Medium is a medium ashy taupe that looks so natural. They say you don't need a brush, but I find you get the best results applying it with an angled brush over the included rounded doe tip applicator. It's such a fool-proof and easy way to define the brows.

GA-DE Cosmetics Signs Of Fall Collection Review
Even though we are deep in to the Holiday season it technically is still Fall and I am not quite ready to give up my favorite season for makeup! GA-DE (pronounced like the gemstone Jade) is a new to me brand out of Israel that will take care of your every beauty need from timeless makeup, innovative skincare ranges and fragrances to arouse your senses. Today I have the Signs of Fall Collection to share!
GA-DE’s Fall 2016 Collection was crafted to complement your beauty, with down to earth hues that reveal a luxurious softness this season. Included is the Basics Matte Eye Shadow Palette - with its signature earth tones, this is a basic must-have for your Fall/ Winter makeup bag. The Idyllic High Definition Volume & Length Mascara to lift and lengthen your lashes for a winged look, using a technologically advanced brush designed to isolate each lash. A High Precision Matte Eyeliner that adds a touch of elegance to any look with each stroke. And lastly, our Idyllic Soft Satin Lipstick in two perfect shades to embrace the chill in the air – a chilly nude pink and supple wine red.
Advanced formula enriched with a pure black-pearl pigment for intense color impact.
Special wavy-fiber brush combs and separates lashes for captivating volume and length.
Reveal longer, fuller, and perfectly defined lashes. I didn't expect to like this mascara so much because I'm not usually a fan of this kind of brush. It was really nice though, my lashes were lengthened, thickened and it didn't irritate my sensitive eyes. It works wonderful for the bottom lashes though and I experienced no flaking or smudging throughout the day.
High Precision Matte Eyeliner ($16)
Water-based, long-wear eye liner with a soft and supple felt-tip delivers ultimate precision to create a multitude of looks. The smudge-proof formula,
saturated with pigments, offers intense satin black matte color, while a
fine felt-tip applicator allows easy application and a flawless even
line in just one stroke.
I had switched to using pen liquid liner's so going back to a brush style was like new territory again. This is a fantastic liquid eyeliner! The brush is so precise. I can apply the thinnest of eyeliner lines and get the sharpest of sharp edges with it. The thin brush allows you to draw a smooth, perfectly precise black line with ease for subtle or dramatic definition. Basics Matte Eyeshadow Palette ($32)
This limited-edition palette presented in a sleek compact with mirror unveils highly pigmented, velvety-matte and ultra-fine powders with staying power. Based on basic earth shades, the signature palette features 8 ultra-matte shades infused with silk powder from deep brown to the palest pink-nude for multi-function use for shading, lining and brow color. Enriched with Ceramide 2, an essential skin agent that helps to balance skin moisture for a supple, smooth and hydrated skin. The colors glide on smoothly and blend effortlessly. Can be applied sheer or layered for a more dramatic effect.
This is yet another must-have netural matte palette. The shadows are velvety soft and apply incredibly pigmented even with out a base. The texture and application reminds me a lot of the Make Up Forever matte eye shadows. The palette has an even mix of dark and light shades that is broken up in to warm and cool from top to bottom. It is that basic everyday matte palette that you will get a ton of use out of.
Idyllic Soft Satin Lipstick ($20)
Luxurious and smooth lipstick sculpts the lips with multi-faceted pigments with high-intensity color and shine in one stroke. An ideal lipstick formula combines lustrous color, sensational comfort and fabulous wear.
Enriched with lip-care ingredients hyaluronic filling spheres™, an incredibly powerful natural filler and anti-oxidant pomegranate oil to help provide comfortable hydration and nourish lips, reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while helping to protect from environmental damages.
Available in 12 signature shades to saturate lips with high-intensity color-in one stroke.
With my lips needing a tube of chapstick a day this is exactly the kind of lipstick I want to wear. The Idyllic Soft Satin lipstick is hydrating with a smooth comfortable feel. Bare Chic looks on the caramel side but its actually a true nude. I'm not generally a fan of nude lips, but this color just tones down my natural lip color and looks light and pretty. Wine Divine is a burgundy that wears surprisingly soft for being a dark shade. The formula is so great on these. Pigmented, plumping, and they feel moisturizing on. I just wish they had more cool tones in there.
I really enjoyed all of the products in this collection and will definitely be checking out more from this line. GA-DE has a range of products to suit all skin types, and makeup that is practical, wearable and timeless for an effortless and elegant look – GA-DE is your everyday makeup that enhances your own beauty, rather than altering it. Urban Decay Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Urban Decay organized the shadows by color family, creating a rainbow of ombré trios: pinks, oranges, yellows, greens, blues, purples, and even a wildcard row that goes from white to black. The end result? A palette that not only looks stunning, but also delivers tons of options.
Create dimensional ombré looks by working within the color-coordinated trios or experiment with multiple shade groups at once. With 18 NEW shades, three exclusives from past palettes, and a wide range of finishes, you’ll never run out of options.
The glamorous sleek black palette has a glamorous design and the squared compact makes it lot easier to store. The black packaging against the rainbow of eyeshadow on the inside creates a stunning offset.
It features tonal, spectrum-like lines that alternate from matte to shiny and a rainbowed-out, faceted “UD” jewel. There's also a huge mirror that you can actually do your full face makeup in and one of UD's awesome double ended eyeshadow brushes.
Now I'm past my days of colorful eyeshadow, but I still loved this palette. It's stunning to look at and the way the shadows are arranged makes putting looks together easy. Many of the colors have metallic, satin, or pearl finishes. This makes wearing color a little less of a commitment than straight on flat color.
You can expect nothing but the best in terms of quality when it comes to UD. I don't even ever question if the eyeshadows will be pigmented or blend well or wear all day. There was a few inconsistencies in here though. A few shadows like Goldmine, Midnight Blaze, and Iced Out felt drier than others and needed to be packed on. I've never been a fan of the glitter eyeshadow from UD, but they seem to have made some improvements with the fall out. Faded was especially gorgeous with the gold overlay over a dusky lavender.
The satin and metallic shades are the stars in here. Warming and Hundred look amazing! They glide on beautifully and beam on the eyes. Bump, a bright matte white, is the only matte eyeshadow. This was a smart choice, I have always preferred the combination of bright colors with a matte white highlight to accent.
Don't be fooled that this is only a colorful eyeshadow palette for people who like colorful eyeshadow. I was very surprised with just how wearable many of these shades are once swatched. Unique about the shadow selection in Full Spectrum is the many different formulas and finishes. They have a lot of depth to them that you don't often see in brights. Because UD wouldn't just throw us a colorful palette this stylish that was basic bish.
Alchemy (deep fuchsia satin)
Gossip (bright metallic pink w/subtle floating pearl)
Paranoia (soft metallic blue-pink)
Warning (deep metallic copper)
Seize (bright metallic coral w/subtle floating pearl)
Jones (metallic orange w/subtle floating pearl)
Midnight Blaze (black matte w/yellow-gold pearl)
Calavera (bright yellow matte w/subtle floating pearl)
Goldmine (metallic yellow-gold)
Hundred (deep metallic forest green)
Hatter (vibrant green w/tonal micro-sparkle)
Mean (bright metallic lime green)
Minx (deep navy matte w/floating tonal pearl)
Blindsided (bright teal blue matte w/floating pearl)
Metamorphosis (vibrant periwinkle blue w/micro-sparkle)
Delirious (deep plum matte w/subtle floating pearl)
Sketch (metallic medium purple)
Faded (lavender w/gold shimmer)
Platonic (black matte w/iridescent glitter)
Iced (oyster silver w/shimmer)
Bump (white matte)
If you are a fan of vibrantly colorful eyeshadow or unexpected finishes nothing in this palette disappoints. Eighteen of the 21 shades are brand new with 3 exclusives from previous palettes. Full Spectrum is an array of beautiful eye shadows that even this NAKED lover can appreciate.
