Get your Boho Glow with BOXYCHARM

My BOXYCHARM arrived super early this month! I don't know if they were just trying to make us forget that weird box last month or get in on the Festival trendiness right now. Either way, the theme this month was Boho Glow and much more fitting for Spring than last months!
Boxycharm ($21/mo.) gives you 5 full size beauty products each month with a retail value of over $100. Free shipping in the U.S.

OFRA Rodeo Drive Highlighter ($35)
Okay, we can call this box amazing right now even if every other product after it sucks. Because in here is OFRA Rodeo Drive Highlighter. I have had this highlighter on my makeup buy list for Summer and was elated to pull it out of my Boxycharm!

Soak up Summer sun day or night with OFRA's Rodeo Drive Highlighter! This radiant new-product captures the luxury and glamour at the famous streets in sunny California. This highlighter is stunning! It's an intensely pigmented shimmering gold champagne. I am not someone who is highlighter crazed, but in the Spring/Summer I love having that little extra glow. I was just about to buy the new Anastasia Highlight Palette, but now I won't even need to. How pretty is the seashell imprint? This highlighter is everything.

PUR Blend Squad 3-PC Contour Blending Sponges ($36)
How cute are these blending sponges? I love the colors! My beauty blender was looking a little beat up so I was definitely in need of these. What I like about this set from PUR is they have an angled edge on their sponges. It's perfect for getting in to the small areas of the face or doing sharp contouring.

Measurable Difference Concealer Palette ($19.99)
Featuring 16 versatile shades, this makeup set works for any skin tone. The creamy, blendable formula melts perfectly into the skin, making any blemish or skin flaw disappear. Or so they say. This concealer palette is complete crap. It's like that cheap makeup you receive in gift sets at Christmas. I swatched this and it was almost like the consistency of lip gloss. It covered nothing. For $20 you can buy an amazing concealer like Tarte Shape Tape. I normally will give items that I don't like to my friends or family but this is so terrible that it's just going to be tossed.

Cargo Cosmetics Lip Gloss ($16)
Super high shine lipgloss delivers intense, lasting color! Creamy, moisturizing formula glides over the lips and never feels sticky. This is a lovely lipgloss, it tastes like creme brulee and has a shiny non-sticky formula. I wasn't sure the bronzey color of Umbria would work for me, but it's quite sheer so it pairs lovely over lipsticks and just gives a hint of tan shimmer. I have been looking to purchase some new lip glosses and after trying this formula this might be the one. I love how moisturizing it feels on.

Hairgurt Smoothing Yogurt Shampoo ($10)
Wondering when your hair got a mind of its own? Try this creamy, rich shampoo with yogurt, probiotics, quinoa, 6 Botanical Oils, and Bio-Keratin to help tame frizzy dry hair. Free of Sulfates, Parabens, harsh salt systems, harmful colors and fragrances.

When I opened BOXYCHMARM I thought they had re-cycled a previous box item. They had not though, the packaging of Hairgurt shampoo and masque is just identical. I still had some of the masque left so I tried them out together last week. While it wasn't terribly moisturizing, my hair felt lightweight, soft, and it didn't weigh my fine hair down. Not to mention it smells like a strawberry smoothie! They're both pretty basic products, I don't love it or hate but I will use it up. I like that Hairgurt is offering such inexpensive products filled with good ingredients and none of the bad ones.

BOXYCHARM definitely goes back to being the best beauty box in the game with 4 out of 5 Winners! That OFRA highlighter is going in to my Spring/Summer makeup routine immediately and 3 makeup sponges, a pretty lip gloss, and a yummy smelling shampoo. They really outdid themselves!

MILK Makeup Eye Pigment Review & Swatches

Every time I am browsing SEPHORA I am drawn to MILK Makeup. I am not sure what it is about this brand but the packaging and products look so innovative and fresh. Because I am a stickler with my brand loyalty I don't often randomly try out something from a brand I have never tried before or one that I haven't even seen any reviews on. I took a chance though and picked up one of the MILK Makeup Eye Pigments to introduce myself to this exciting brand.

Bring a pop of color to your look with Milk Makeup’s long-wearing Eye Pigment. It gives you tenacious color with a soft, silky texture, drying on quickly without creasing. Create a dimensional, long-lasting look that’s as refined or rebellious as you want—layer to intensify. Easily blendable, this shadow is perfect for giving lids a vibrant touch of color for everyday looks.

MILK Makeup Eye Pigments are a vivid, highly pigmented cream eyeshadow in a portable tube that delivers bold color in one swipe.

They have a stunning color selection, ranging from metallic neutrals to bold shades like Rave Purple. Because I love anything sparkly taupe I chose Peep Show. That's about as adventurous as I get with my makeup anymore. My days of Rave Purple are behind me, but the brights look suuuper pretty.

Peep Show was darker and a lot more glittery than I expected. I put it on in the day on my lids and was like..girl, this isn't a disco or instagram. I still really liked it though. The shine was mega-watt! I was expecting something more natural looking seeing as it was a taupe. Instead, it's going to work better for smokey taupe eyes and night time looks. I don't think all of the shades contain glitter, but I'm going to pick up After Party next to see.

A little goes a very long way with these. The color is intensely pigmented. The pigments apply similar to a cream concealer and dry down quickly. Blending these out is a little tricky and you will have to work fast. Wear time is outstanding! There is no fading or creasing all day. They would make a perfect option for hot days...Coachella anyone? These cream shadows were so budge-proof I had to break out the big guns oil makeup remover to fully remove it at the end of the day. I have to say MILK Makeup has me intrigued, I will certainly be trying out more from them.
