Can we just have a moment for this awesome PR packaging. This has to be the sweetest way to package a collection I have ever seen!

Urban Decay NAKED CHERRY Eyeshadow Palette ($49)
This is our wildest way yet to look better Naked…Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette has a sexy vibe that’s more tart than sweet. With 12 never-before-picked neutrals, this vamped-up cherry-hued palette is sure to bring out your sultriest, most tempting eye looks ever.

These 12 all-new shades include of-the-moment soft mattes and sizzling metallic, ranging from creamy ivory and shimmering rose gold to the most intense black cherry. We’re addicted to Bing—a deep mauve matte that is right on trend. And we can’t get enough of Drunk Dial, a shimmery metallic burgundy that takes smoky looks to a smoldering climax.

Because serious staying power and shadow that doesn’t flake or fade out on you are non-negotiables, each shade is made from our mind-blowing formula that gives its velvety texture, rich color and blendability.

Adorned with a row of metallic cherries, the crimson compact includes a full-size mirror and double-sided brush—ready for precision application on one end and seamless blending on the other. Whether you’re at the office, in between flights or getting ready at the apartment, Naked Cherry spices up everything from chill neutrals and sexy shimmers to super smoky eyes.

This palette totally embodies cherries, though some may say it's a bit more cranberry. Sometimes UD describes their palette one way and it ends up totally different. Hello, the not-cool-toned BackTalk palette. NAKED Cherry hits the mark in color palette.

Where it falls short is in pigmentation. NAKED Cherry doesn't stand up to par with previous Naked Palettes. The matte shades were much more dusty and chalky than I have experienced from my other Naked's in the past. That aside, it's still really good. My favorite colors in this palette were the shimmers Turn On, Ambitious, and Drunk Dial. I also really liked the matte shades Feelz and Devilish. Both shades have a gorgeous warmth to them that really make them pop as a crease shade. Being fair, cool toned cherry red shades can look a little sickly on me. This is not he best palette for me personally, but I still really loved the cherry cola color palette.

NAKED Cherry Highlight & Blush Palette ($34)
Creating a luscious glow is as easy as pie with our Naked Cherry Highlight and Blush Palette. This sweet-and-tart trio includes one highlighter, a universally flattering blush and a super-sophisticated iridescent complexion topper that can be worn solo or as a shimmering overlay to add the ultimate luminous glow. Use these lightweight, jet-milled shades separately or mix them together to create your own custom glow (with a luxurious, flawless-looking finish).

This palette is similar style to the one released with Kristin Leanne. It houses two highlight shades and one blush. The blush is a warm, candy apple red that looks like a pretty just in from the cold flush. The swatches of the highlight shades do not do this justice. It is INTENSE. The white has a soft pink shimmer and the champagne is super flattering with a hint of gold. They look lovely mixed together too. As i wore this through out the week...I hated it! WHAT? The blush is so hardly packed in that when you try to apply the blush it just sits in one big cherry spot on your cheek. It does not blend out AT ALL. The highlights are pretty, but super intense even with the lightest hand. If you are looking for an extreme highlight you will love this, but don't get it for the blush.

24/7 Eyeliner Pencils Black Market & Love Drug ($21)
Intensify your Cherry eye look with two all-new eyeliner shades in Urban Decay’s award-winning, waterproof formula. Love Drug is a deep, metallic wine shade, and Black Market is a rich, black with a satin finish (each shade sold separately). Both look amazing as winged liner or on your tight line. UD 24/7 are my favorite pencil liners. I really loved Black Market because it is slightly less intense than their other black liners Zero and Perversion. It has more of a matte, satiny finish that isn't overpowering. Love Drug is pretty too! There isn't too much red in the color and it also has that somewhat softer color finish.

Naked Cherry VICE Lipstick ($18)
Make it a real treat and finish your juicy Naked Cherry look with three limited-edition matching shades of Vice Lipstick. Our cult-favorite formula delivers super-creamy texture, rich payout and superior color dispersion.

Yummy shades include Juicy, a light peach-pink with copper micro-shimmer; Devilish, a berry pink with tonal micro-shimmer; and Cherry, a deep berry wine.

You can never go wrong with VICE lipstick, ever. They are my favorite lipstick's and I really don't use anything except UD for lipstick any more. I have to say though I wasn't that floored by these shades. Yummy looked exactly like the LE released from the Beached Collection, Devilish too similar to Big Bang, and Cherry like all of the rest of the dark vampy wine's UD already offers.

I really wish they would have ditched the look at me mettalized finish and brought us a gorgeous juicy cherry pink or an actual shade similar to the eyeshadow shadow Devilish in Naked Cherry. I know they can make some awesome eclectic lip colors, but why neglect a great classic wearable pink or berry in the process? Of the three I would get Cherry, it's a luscious creamy wine lip color that you can't go wrong with in the Fall.

All Nighter Travel-size Cherry Scented Setting Spray ($15)
Don’t have a meltdown: The All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray you know (and are obsessed with) gets a cherry-scented upgrade. This Travel-Size All Nighter Cherry Scented Makeup Setting Spray looks fresh as hell and is made to travel, so it slips easily into your purse or beauty bag. Made with patented Temperature Control Technology and suitable for all skin types, the bestie-in-a-bottle always delivers a microfine mist that keeps makeup looking gorgeously just-applied for up to 16 hours. Our favorite setting spray cherry scented? yes please! I'm not normally a fan of scents in makeup in any way, but I do like Too Faced Sweet Peach stuff a lot. I was hoping it would be like that. No, it smells like cherry Nyquil you guys. Very fake chemical scented. Luckily it fades pretty quickly.

NAKED Cherry Collection will top your makeup list! So my final thoughts on this collection are: The NAKED Cherry Palette is a fantastic selection of cranberry shades. It is not an every day palette, but definitely specialty colors that work beautifully together. The highlight palette is a no-go and I would skip the lipstick's if you already have something similar. Pick up the setting spray if you need an on the go travel setting spray for cold season! ;) 24/7 Eyeliners are always a safe bet and these two shades are no exception. NAKED Cherry Palette is the real star of this collection, and as it should be!

SUNDAY RILEY Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment Review

As a serum junkie Sunday Riley's Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment has been at the top of my skincare wishlist on SEPHORA for awhile now, but I will admit the price is a teensy bit hard to swallow. Now that I have switched to a less is more approach with makeup I figure spending a little more on skin care is worth it when you're buying less makeup. Every one wants the unmistakable look of having "good genes". This amazing pharmaceutical-grade, lactic acid based treatment is an instant complexion booster, plumping fine lines and exfoliating to reveal brighter, newer skin. Yes please!

So a little bit embarrassing...but I first discovered Sunday Riley because of some blurb in a magazine where Hilary Duff said she used SR products on her skin at night. Girlfriend has some too freakin die for skin so the name just sat in my mind equating itself to luminous healthy glowing skin.

I was a bit torn on what to buy first from the line, Good Genes or the LUNA Sleeping Oil? I combed over the reviews on SEPHORA before deciding that Good Genes had more of the elements that I was looking for. Keeping fine lines at bay while brightening the complexion.
Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment is formulated with high potency, purified grade lactic acid that immediately exfoliates dull, pore-clogging dead skin cells, revealing smoother, fresher, younger-looking skin. Fine lines appear visually plumped while the skin looks more radiant. With continued use, the appearance of stubborn hyperpigmentation and the visible signs of aging are reduced for a healthier-looking complexion. Perfect for all skin types and all ages, this treatment is enhanced with licorice for brightening, Good Genes clarifies, smooths, and retexturizes for instant radiance.

Licorice reduces hyperpigmentation while lemongrass increases circulation for immediate radiance. Long term use will help restore damaged skin, reduce hyperpigmentation and scars, reduce the depth and number of lines and wrinkles, even out skin tone, and increase epidermal firmness. Great for all skin types. Can be used daily or as a mask.

Good Genes is more of a lightweight cream than the serums that I'm used to. The way it applies over the skin feels absolutely luscious. I am not big on scents in skincare, okay I hate them, so when the overpowering scent of Lemongrass came through I was like..womp womp. The lemony fresh punch isn't totally offensive, but I do wish they would have knocked the scent down a notch.

At night I apply one pump all over my face after cleansing and toning. I actually find a half of pump will do. You can even use it as a mask for 15 minutes. Seriously, check back in the mirror after 15 minutes and this stuff is already working miracles on your skin. Hydrating, brightening, and plumping up your skin right before your eyes. Some nights I only apply the serum, but I have been following up with the Fresh Rose Cream for added moisture since we're heading in to the chillier months. This has been a solid combination for my combination/sensitive skin. Next time I am at SEPHORA I plan on picking up the LUNA Sleeping Oil to alternate with.

My main concern and what had me all about getting Good Genes was hyperigmentation. I have two annoying dark spots on both of my cheeks which I developed over the Summer. I tried the MURAD Skin Lightening Serum with some improvement but didn't like the idea of using hydroquinoine often. Good Genes helped more in one week than Murad's did in an entire month. My hyperpigmentation spots faded significantly and it even faded the little sun freckles from my nose. I just love how radiant and plumped this makes my skin look. If you need a little pick me up or to revive stressed skin Good Gene's is your answer. I can even deal with the slightly unpleasant smell for these results.

Sunday Riley Good Genes is one of the most effective skincare products I have tried. Results are immediate and long lasting. It is one product that I will be keeping in my anti-aging skincare routine for the long term. Yes, it is on the pricey side but worth the investment. The amount of makeup I need to wear has lessened and it has added some life back in to my dull, weather-changing complexion. I would definitely check out the Power Couple Duo: Total Transformation Kit at SEPHORA. You get both Good Genes and LUNA Sleeping Oil, it is the perfect way to try out two of their top products!
