Blue Lips ...Crazy Cool or too Ke$ha?

Blue Lipstick has been trending on the catwalks for multiple seasons now but would anyone actually wear this smurfette shade? I'm attempting to do so tonight with Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in RX. OCC finally heard us out and re-packaged their tar's with a finer tip. I just wish I hadn't bought them beforehand!

The only look that drew me in at NY Fashion Week this year was the blue hue at Jeremy Scott. His inspiration behind the makeup was rave culture and Gwen Stefani, two of my biggest early influences. The eyes were left almost bare with neon bindi's sweetly framing the face. It complimented the colorful 90's-esque collection perfectly.

The blues at Jeremy Scott were created by mixing MAC pro Lip Mix in white and cyan, then setting it with a blue eyeshadow pigment. For mine I used OCC Lip Tar in RX, then added just a touch of Feathered(white) for a brighter Cyan lip. Other blue lip options: Sleek Pout Paint Peek a Bloo, KA'OIR doll, & Illamasqua Disciple.

Call me out for a segment of B*tch Stole my Look! because I ripped my outfit & accessory inspiration tonight straight from the LuLu's model. Lulus.com is one of my absolute favorite places to shop online. I wore a gold sequin dress from them on my Birthday and they sent me over this adorable The Crafty Kitten colorful leopard print dress. It's very 80's/electro meets Peg Bundy, I just love it. I'll pop up a full fashion review on them later on. But for now, if you need a flirty or funky dress you'll likely find one here.
