Face Stockholm is a cosmetics line I have been following since the 90's. I remember discovering them when I read an article that Amanda from 90's Scottish indie pop band Bis wore their makeup during my all riotgrrrl glitter eyes phase. I was immediately intrigued especially at the time because the brand was so hard to find in the U.S. I am now revisiting Face Stockholm with two new Color Wheels from the Spring 2016 line. This season is inspired by sheer color hues and soft watercolor finishes.

The Smart Face Color Wheel is multi-tasking makeup at its best. I love the look of these color wheels because they take makeup back to artistry. You can dip your fingers in and paint them wherever on the face you want.
The BRIGHT quad gives you four playful shades that can be applied to the lips and cheeks for a moisturizing flush of color.
The brighter pink and coral shades look stunning as a cream blush. They are very pigmented so just a touch on the cheeks blended out will give you a stunning pop of color. They can also be used as lip colors.
The NUDE quad is a 3-in-1 wheel that gives you all that you need to contour, highlight, and color your way to flawless. Includes: 2 barely-there blush balms to contour & color, 1 moisturizing rose salve with vitamin e and 1 illuminating highlighter.
The creamy gold highlighter in the NUDE wheel melds right in to the skin for a beaming glow. The rest of the quad though has a sticky lipgloss feel and basically completely invisible as you can see from the swatches. It strikes me more as a lipgloss quad than for the face.
The Face Wheels have an effortless translucent water color look and feel. I loved the pink's in the Bright quad, they are so fresh and youthful looking on. The glossy shades are pretty much undetectable and too sticky, so the NUDE wheel I would skip. For a pop of color that will perk up your face with minimal effort these are so fresh!
