Tarte in bloom is a perfect eyeshadow palette in so many ways. The packaging is stunning, its lightweight, just the right size to store, and the 12 different eyeshadows let you create a multitude of eye looks.
In bloom is a blooming lovely palette. All of the shadows are super pigmented and velvety smooth. The matte's are buttery soft and the shimmers shine intensely. I am completely blown away just how pigmented they are even without a primer. The darker shades also have no fallout when applying. I feared at first this palette was going to be to warm for my skintone, but that is not the case. The warmth is a welcome change from my usual cool-toned choices. If I had one complaint its that the Amazonian Clay formula always feels oddly dry on my eyes. Anyone else have that problem or am I imagining things?
Eye shadow in Charmer (off white), Jetsetter (warm taupe), Rocker (shimmering taupe), Smokeshow (black brown), Flower Child (peachy nude), Smarty Pants (tan), Firecracker (bronze copper), Activist (dark brown), Funny Girl (champagne), Sweetheart (peach), Rebel (chestnut brown), Leader (aubergine.
I am very happy I chose Tartelette in Bloom as my single eyeshadow palette purchase for Spring. It was not easy choosing between the Too Faced Sweet Peach! Except, Sweet Peach is a $100 Unicorn that is sold out every 5 minutes. In Bloom will take me through Spring and Summer and get me out of the 'taupe' rut, but I will say Rocker is definitely my favorite shade!
