Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Palette Review & Swatches

I have had my eye on the Tartelette In Bloom Palette forever so when Tarte had their Friends & Family sale I immediately hit the order button. It feels great to be back in to buying makeup again! Making selective purchases of a few new products each season has really made me appreciate makeup again. Expect quite a few reviews coming up! Tarte is known for beautifully elegant palettes with amazing eyeshadow performance and In Bloom is no exception.

Take your eye looks to new heights with these 12 on-trend shadows. With nine mattes and three lusters, these lid, liner, and crease pairings allow you to create stunning, smoldering eyes. Infused with tarte’s signature Amazonian clay formula, you’ll get the same pigmented payoff, blendability, and lasting color as with the original tartelette—all in a chic, portable palette with a beautiful floral design. Use your favorite shadow brush to create your own custom blended bold eye or more subtle looks for any occasion. The palette includes a step-by-step guide for creating looks from a vibrant eye to an ethereal glow.

Tarte in bloom is a perfect eyeshadow palette in so many ways. The packaging is stunning, its lightweight, just the right size to store, and the 12 different eyeshadows let you create a multitude of eye looks.

In bloom is a blooming lovely palette. All of the shadows are super pigmented and velvety smooth. The matte's are buttery soft and the shimmers shine intensely. I am completely blown away just how pigmented they are even without a primer. The darker shades also have no fallout when applying. I feared at first this palette was going to be to warm for my skintone, but that is not the case. The warmth is a welcome change from my usual cool-toned choices. If I had one complaint its that the Amazonian Clay formula always feels oddly dry on my eyes. Anyone else have that problem or am I imagining things?

Eye shadow in Charmer (off white), Jetsetter (warm taupe), Rocker (shimmering taupe), Smokeshow (black brown), Flower Child (peachy nude), Smarty Pants (tan), Firecracker (bronze copper), Activist (dark brown), Funny Girl (champagne), Sweetheart (peach), Rebel (chestnut brown), Leader (aubergine.

I am very happy I chose Tartelette in Bloom as my single eyeshadow palette purchase for Spring. It was not easy choosing between the Too Faced Sweet Peach! Except, Sweet Peach is a $100 Unicorn that is sold out every 5 minutes.  In Bloom will take me through Spring and Summer and get me out of the 'taupe' rut, but I will say Rocker is definitely my favorite shade!
