Co-Founder and Creative Director Jerrod Blandino had never seen lipstick more beautiful, intense, rich and glossy than when it’s in its melted form in the cosmetic labs. With this inspiration, Too Faced created Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick. A lipstick liquified so it doesn’t lose its pigment or shine while keeping a comfortable, flexible and cushiony wear. Sound Amazing? Oh. yeah. They are. I've had these on rotation all Summer :)
Melted Lipstick's are intensely saturated lip colors with the shine of a gloss, lasting-power of a stain, and the high impact color of a liquid lipstick. You get full on pigmented opaque color out of these pretty little (actually generous at .40 oz!) tubes. The formula is a creamy consistency that glides on so smooth to a comfortable light feel on the lips. Not the most moisturizing, but they're not super drying like OCC lip tar's either. They go on glossy but dry down to a satiny matte finish as they wear on.
The COLORS. Oh my gosh. What you see is what you get.

Sorry about the low picture quality here. I had to revert back to my old dud of a camera which pulls a ton of yellowy warmth and fug contrast..but I think the lipstick colors are pretty accurate! that's all that matters :) Eyes: Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette (see the review) Jewelry : SHOPLately
Melted Ruby is a bright blue based Blood Red. Such a beautiful beautiful Red that any one can wear.
Melted Violet is definitely the most unique and fun color of the bunch, a vivid Violet Orchid. A Lot of purple based lip colors can give you that dead look, but this has an electric neon quality to it that keeps things lively.
Melted Fuchsia, a bold hot pink with a blue undertone. This is one of those lipcolors that you can throw on with minimal makeup and fake that you put way more effort in to it than you actually did. It's been my go-to in this scorcher Summer heat.
Melted Coral is described as a Creamy Coral, on me it goes bright creamscicle orange. If you have warm under tones this will be a much more true coral.
Another example of what looks good on one skin tone is dreadful on another. Melted Nude has a neutral brownish undertone, so there ya go. Looks pretty gnarly. I must say I don't have anything in my collection quite like it though!
When these first hit Sephora Melted Peony is the color I bought. Described as a soft dusty rose this is a lovely every day shade of warmed up pink. It's the easiest color to wear in the line and will likely suit a lot of people.
These are some major babe shades! Somehow they managed to nail the most awesome color in each shade category. It's got you covered from vivid bold brights down to the neutral wearable end. I can't even pick a favorite they're all just downright WOW.
