Just as important as carrying lipstick and powder for mid-day touch ups in your purse is having healthy essentials on hand at all times. Our purse travels with us everywhere from the train to work to cold nights out on the town. I am one of those people that gets sick way too easily. I feel like if I just hear someone sneeze a mile a way I will catch it! Instead of relying on just hoping to not fall ill this Fall/Winter season I have put together a special compartment in my handbag devoted to health. Having these go-to products stowed away in my handbag keeps me healthy and prepared when I am out and about.

Centrum Vitamints
New Centrum VitaMints are adult multivitamins with a refreshingly minty taste you can take/enjoy any time of day with or without food or water. No chalky taste, just cool mint flavor. It is so much easier to remember to take your vitamins when they taste good.

Hand Sanitizer & Antibacterial Wipes
With everything that our hands touch in a day a hand sanitizer is a must. Antibacterial wipes are convenient for wiping down surfaces germ-free. I was very happy to have these with me on a recent flight and so was the rest of my row!

Emergen-C Immune+ Chewables
Immune Support is something I definitely need during the Fall/Winter months. Emergen-C Immune+ Chewables are a convenient way to get in your Vitamin C. Its extra peace of mind being able to get that Vitamin boost on late nights out or when I know I will be around a lot of people. More Healthy Days, More Healthy Nights.

Essential Oils
A roller ball dab on the wrist or neck or simply inhaling the scent of an essential oil can remedy what may be ailing you. I use them for everything from insomnia, motion sickness, to relaxation. My favorites are Peppermint, Ginger, and Lavender.

Tissues
Small packs of tissues are a necessity in the colder months when sniffles are on the rise. There are so many pretty colors and designs out now too!
Healthy Snacks & H20
Having nutritious snacks like nuts, organic trail mix, or high protein bars helps me to avoid unhealthy temptations and from becoming hangry. Staying hydrated is vital to feeling your best but it isn't always easy to get in 8 glasses a day on the go. I bought this collapsible water bottle in the camping section and it has been wonderful for getting in my daily water intake.

First-Aid Kit
In case of an emergency (like a blister from uncomfortable shoes!) a small first aid kit of band aids, antibiotic cream, and any other quick fixes can come in useful. I pop in some tweezers and nail clippers because nothing is more annoying than a splinter or half broken nail. Hair ties for emergency high humidity day ponytails.

ChapStick Total Hydration
I love ChapStik Total Hydration because it instantly smooths and moisturizes. The formula is 100% natural with Omega 6 & 9. Advanced nourishing formula with argan oil and avocado butter and rosehip oils visibly renews lips. No more dry chapped lips just clinically proven healthier looking lips.

I picked up the Pfizer products at my local Walmart. Centrum Vitamints were located in the Vitamin & Supplement aisle. ChapStick Total Hydration in the Lip Care and Emergen-C Immune+ Chewables can be found nearby in the Cold & Flu aisle.

Instead of tossing a bunch of items in to my bag haphazardly I always organize them neatly in their own 'mini-purse'. One for makeup and one for small essential.

A purse organizer really keeps it all in place. Those free with purchase cosmetics bags would work perfectly too! Compartmentalizing cuts down on clutter, frustration, and you can quickly switch out your purses from a day bag to a clutch or your gym bag.

Staying healthy is just as important on the go as it is at home. What healthy essentials do you keep in your purse?
