PAPERSELF False Eyelashes

Inspired by the art of Chinese paper-cutting, Paperself Eyelashes blend an element of traditional culture with contemporary design. Intricately cut and delicately pretty, each style is infused with symbolic meaning rooted in Chinese culture. I spoke about these lashes last year, but never had a chance to try them as they were fairly exclusive to the UK at the time. Paperself sent me three pairs of their beautiful lashes, and today I'm featuring Peonie's, which mean for happiness and good fortune.
Almost too pretty to wear! I admired them in the box not wanting to mess them up for a good while. Despite being paper, they're very sturdy and well made. The application is as easy as any other false lash, and they can be worn more than once. The strips are long allowing you to trim tiny bits off to apply them as individual pieces as well. I did a simple look with these. I feel the more minimal or color blocked the eye makeup the better, you really want the lashes to remain the focus.

For being so eloquently designed they're quite natural looking on aren't they?
