Urban Decay BEACHED Collection Review & Swatches

It feels like we have just entered Spring here, but Urban Decay is prepping us for Summer vacay with their limited-edition Ulta Exclusive BEACHED Collection for Summer 2018. I didn't think it could get any better after the awesome Spring releases they gave us, but I am WOW'ed by this collection! I am a land-mermaid at heart and this collection captures the laid back beachy aesthetic on all levels! From the sea-foam packaging with palm trees to the sunny bronzer and duo-chrome metallic lip colors Beached will take you to your personal paradise. Lets take a dip in the ocean!

BEACHED Eyeshadow Palette ($34)
I am just going to dive straight in to the best part of this collection, the Beached Eyeshadow Palette. Loaded with eight brand-new shades, from warm coppers to deep pops of turquoise, Urban Decay's Beached Eyeshadow Palette invokes the one-of-a-kind, magical feeling of a hot summer night.

Covered in palm trees inspired by the landscape of warm SoCal beaches, the limited-edition Beached Eyeshadow Palette warrants a permanent vacation. These shades scream summer and the long-lasting formulas won't budge, even when you're spending the season's hottest days under the sun. Channel your inner golden goddess and keep the summer vibes going all year long.

Made from UD's mind-blowing formula that gives each shade its velvety texture, rich color and blendability, each shade holds tightly onto pigment and stays put. Create a warm smoky eye with 16th St., a metallic golden bronze, and Wedge, a deep copper. For a playful look inspired by the ocean waves, blend Double Dip and Plunge for a turquoise gradient effect.

Shades (swatched over NO Primer):
  • Salt (ivory satin)
  • Heatwave (metallic rust)
  • 16th St. (metallic bronze-gold)
  • Plunge (deep metallic blue-green)
  • Blaze (light metallic peach with pink shift)
  • Daybreak (deep reddish terra-cotta matte)
  • Double Dip (bright metallic teal)
  • Wedge (deep metallic brown-copper)

Beached Eyeshadow Palette is a MUST GET. This has to be my favorite eyeshadow palette to come out from UD this year. The packaging is a lot like Backtalk, but doesn't include the bulky weird mirror. It's sleek and light. The eye shadow's in here are seriously great quality. Velvety, pigmented, and apply so smoothly. What really sold me on this palette is the color palette. The colors are nothing short of ordinary, not even the neutrals! They have gorgeous metallic finishes that shine like light bouncing off waves. Blaze looks like an ordinary golden taupe, but it is not at all. It has a illuminating pinky peach shift to it. One of my favorite eye combinations is neutrals combined with teal and Beached perfects that oceanic look with the additions of Double Dip and Plunge. I just love everything about this palette!

BEACHED Bronzer Bronzed & Sunkissed ($30)
Nail the golden goddess look every time with Beached Bronzer from Urban Decay. Dust this silky powder on your face or all over your whole bod - and look like you spent a week hanging out on the sunny beaches of Fiji. How pretty is the tropical artwork on the packaging? This is just meant for Summer travel!

Urban Decay's finely milled, super-soft formula applies smoothly, doesn't streak, and creates a radiant glow that won't quit. Get Beached (not burned); these universally flattering matte shades provide sheer, natural-looking coverage every time.

If you swore off powder bronzers because they always felt dry and applied unevenly, you'll be blown away by how different Beached Bronzer is. Finely milling the powder gives it an ultra creamy texture that feels amazing on your skin (and it's easy to apply). HPP (Highlighter Performing Pigments) Technology provides rich color, long-lasting elements and the perfect level of coverage.

I have said it many times. I am not a bronzer girl. On my pale skin they always look dirty, or orangey. Not these bronzers. They are so finely milled that the blend effortlessly in to the skin. Sunkissed has a bit more pink tone to it and is lighter. While Bronzed is more of a traditional cocoa bronzer with yellow undertone. I actually liked Bronzed more for a bronzer. It has a really clean 'real life' tan look to it. While Sunkissed makes an awesome contour and natural nude blush shade. Beached bronzer warms up my skin with out the obvious I'm wearing bronzer look and they never look patchy. I think I might even like it more than Too Faced Chocolate Soleil and HOOLA. So subtle and naturally sunkissed!

BEACHED 24/7 Eyeliner Lucky & Goldmine ($20)
Inspired by the landscape of warm SoCal beaches, Urban Decay's limited-edition Beached 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils warrant a permanent vacation. These shades scream summer and the long-lasting formula won't budge, even when you're spending the season's hottest days under the sun. Channel your inner golden goddess and keep the summer vibes going all year long.

Go from the boat to the beach bonfire with UD's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Goldmine, a gold shimmer with gold micro-sparkle, and Lucky, a metallic burnt orange shade (from UD's original lineup). These are the best pencil eyeliners in the game in my opinion. They will never fail you, staying creamy to blend and dryin down to a waterproof finish. Lucky and Goldmine look like a sunset on the eyes!

BEACHED Vice Lipstick ($18)
Covered in palm trees inspired by the landscape of warm SoCal beaches, Urban Decay's limited-edition Beached Vice Lipsticks warrant a permanent vacation. These shades scream summer and the long-lasting formulas won't budge, even when you're spending the season's hottest days under the sun. Channel your inner golden goddess and keep the summer vibes going all year long.

Just one swipe of UD's brand-new Vice Lipstick shades provides long-lasting, crazy-pigmented color that won't slide off in the summer heat. This cult-favorite formula provides super-creamy texture, rich payout and superior color dispersion. I am obsessed with the palm tree print packaging!

Try Heatwave, a metallic rust, or Tower 1, a shifty metallic peach named after UD's local lifeguard tower. For a shade that looks perfect poolside, opt for 100 Degrees, a bright coral-pink. These three shades are FIRE. They are so unique and emollient. I am always on the hunt for a poppin coral-red and 100 degrees is IT. Wow! It looks so stunning! I also appreciate the unique metallics of Tower 1 and Heatwave. I do wish they would have given us a pretty coral in here too, but I can't be mad at how cool these shades are. I love VICE lipsticks as I have said many many times over.

Wow! The Beached Collection has me dreaming of an early Summer or tropical getaway! It is all SO dang GOOD. You will want to grab everything in this collection. There's also currently a free gift with purchase going on at Ulta until 5/13 for a a Free deluxe All Nighter Spray or Trouble Maker Mascara with $40 purchase!
