BOXYCHARM takes us to groovy town for November. When I opened this box it felt like deja vu. There was yet another Studio Makeup eyeshadow palette in this box! Vintage Illuminating Face Highlighter ($32)
This highlight has reflective pearls that add radiance on contact, a delicate glow, and a diamond like finish to the skin. The color I received was Rose Gold. Anything rose gold excites me. This highlight is beautiful! It's a peachy pink with the most amazing rose gold sheen. I absolutely love this color because it is an unexpected chane from champagne or gold. I can not wait to wear this throughout the holiday party season, it will look amaze with mettalic smokey eyes and a nude lip. I had never heard of Vintage Cosmetics before, but it is definitely on my radar now, full of modern luxury glamour.
Studio Makeup Eyeshadow Palette ($49.95)
The last Studio Gear eyeshadow palette has become one of my most favorite and most used palette's. It was the perfect mix of warm neutrals for Fall. This one takes us from Fall in to Winter with a gorgeous set of cool-toned shades in a mix of matte and shimmers.
The colors in this palette are beautiful, gorgeous jewel tones and workable cool neutrals. I know this will take me through Winter and beyond. The eyeshadow's are buttery and blend amazingly well. This palette reminds me a lot of MAC shadow's, well the good ones. Like I said last time, this whole box is worth it just for this one palette. I do wish they would have switched the packaging up a bit so you could distinguish between the two but no biggie.
Skyn Iceland Relief Eye Pen ($20)
This product is really cool! It's a triple-acting eye cream in a portable pen. It's formulated to combat dark circles, puffiness, and wrinkles all while on the go. While I usually don't bust out an eye cream from my purse I can see this being easy to travel with and the twist up pen makes it sanitary and easy to apply. The formula is light with a nice soothing cool feel and it can be worn under makeup.
Bellapierre Kiss Proof Lip Creme ($20)
These full coverage, high impact liquid lipsticks last for hours without the need for touch up. Their creamy formula goes on smoothly and dries to beautiful matte finish in a snap. Liquid matte lipsticks are still having a moment. From the tube this looked to be that grossly trendy matte mauvy brown that you see on all of the photoshopped instagram makeup. So I already wanted to hate it because I can't stand that style of makeup, or rather makeup editing. But I didn't!
Antique Pink is what I wanted Kat Von D original Lolita to be on me. A deep mauvy pink with only a slight tinge of brown. The formula is lovely too, very lightweight and man it does not budge at all. I had to break out the big guns oil based makeup remover to remove it. The only thing I didn't like is the fruity smell and it stays a bit tacky after I apply. I think this is application error as I tend to always have that lip sticking problem with liquid matte lipsticks. I definitely will be checking out more of the Bellapierre lip creme's now, I need one in red for sure!
Crown Brush CS13 Pro Detail Crease Brush ($12.99)
Crown Brush used to be some of my favorites back in the day! I do not even know why I stopped buying their brushes because they are fantastic and affordable. This detail brush is a lot like the MAC #219. Super soft, dense, and perfect for smudging the lower lashline or detail work.
BOXYCHARM kills it again! I am so impressed with their inclusion of another Studio Gear Eyeshadow palette. This whole box at $21 is half the price of just the palette and you get all of these other awesome things too!
