Veils of Spring with Face Stockholm Smart Face Color Wheels

Face Stockholm is a cosmetics line I have been following since the 90's. I remember discovering them when I read an article that Amanda from 90's Scottish indie pop band Bis wore their makeup during my all riotgrrrl glitter eyes phase. I was immediately intrigued especially at the time because the brand was so hard to find in the U.S. I am now revisiting Face Stockholm with two new Color Wheels from the Spring 2016 line. This season is inspired by sheer color hues and soft watercolor finishes.

billion dollar brows Brows On Point Brow Pencils Review

billion dollar brows known for their exclusively brow only products now gives us Brows On Point.
Super-fine, self-sharpening micro pencil's in four shades for creating precise natural looking brows. This style of brow pencil has long been my preferred choice so I was happy to see bDb going the slim route and it is also quite a few dollars cheaper than my go-to Anastasia Brow Wiz!

Easily create hair like brush strokes with this micro pencil's super-slim precision point to fill in and accentuate your brows. This mechanical pencil does not need a sharpener and covers every hair for maximum color pay off. The super thin tip lets you create strokes that mimic the look of individual natural brow hairs. You never get a heavy looking or too done brow this way.

The formula of these pencils is slightly more waxy than my Anastasia Brow Wiz and Mirabella micro brow pencils. It takes a tiny bit more pressure, but this also means the waterproof formula withstands smudging and fading and stays in place.

Available in four versatile shades: Blonde, Taupe, Light Brown, Raven

The shades of these pencils are also on point. They really take in to consideration what most natural brow hair colors are and the most flattering tones that suit them. Do pay attention to the shades that go with the names though. Light Brown to me is more of a blonde color, while Blonde is what I noramlly refer to as Taupe. While Taupe is more of a light brown. It's a little confusing!

Blonde was just right for my dark blonde/light brown eyebrows. I loved the ashy shade this color had as I often find most pencils too warm, but this one is perfectly cool. Raven is amazing for the darker-haired. It is also on the ashy side. Light Brown would suit very light blondes or redheads, and Soft Brown a chocolate brown suitable for brunettes.

Brows On Point are perfect brow pencils. The fine-tip makes sculpting effortless and the results are completely natural looking. The shade range is one of the truest to hair colors I have seen and they are waterproof meaning your brows look freshly applied through just about anything. If you are looking for a slighly cheaper alternative for a fine-tip automatic pencil these are your answer to brows that are on point all day.

Magnetic Lashes with PUR Fully Charged Mascara

We understand what low battery means. It's the moment we look excitedly for a charger before we lose our edits on SnapChat and Instagram. It's usually not how we refer to our lashes - until now. PUR's Fully Charged Mascara uses magnetic technology to give you the most dramatic, high-performance lashes ever!

Opposites attract with this age-defying mascara. Fully Charged Mascara's polymers matrix veils the lashes for maximized all day lift, volume, and curl. Plus, the revolutionary formula helps strengthen lashes for reduced fallout. No need to recharge.

A mascara has to be pretty awesome for me to make the switch from my beloved Too Faced Better Than Sex. PUR's Fully Charged has been on my lashes since I starting testing it to review 3 weeks a go. This mascara is an excellent natural looking volumizing mascara. It gives you soft fluttery black lashes in one coat. Fully Charged provides just enough volume and length for a little more than natural day look. It also doesn't irritate my super sensitive eyes so for that I love it as a daily mascara.

The formula is great. Not too dry or too wet, and it nourishes the lashes. I haven't experienced any flaking, smudges, clumping, or fading throughout the day. The only thing Fully Charged is a few bars on is keeping my lashes curled. It seems to make them a bit straight, but that just adds to the lengthened look. When I checked out the reviews on ULTA this mascara was looking a little middle of the road, but I am pleasantly surprised with how nice it wears and will likely re-purchase when it runs out. Pur's Fully Charged is the perfect every day mascara for giving your lashes a charge of voluminous drama.

PUR Fully Charged Mascara ($22) is available at Kohls and Ulta Stores. Also available on www.purcosmetics.com

My TRIA Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser Experience

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Tria. All opinions are my own.

Tria Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser is the newest beauty gadget I have been testing out. Over the past 8 weeks I have been updating with my progress on social media and I now have my final results. Anti-aging has become more evident in my skincare routine now that I'm in my 30's, but it's not something I am crazy obsessive about. Maybe it comes from my Artist side, but I find aging faces beautiful. Procedures like botox and fillers are unnatural things I have no desire to ever have. I do however believe in using at home and less invasive approaches to keep the skin looking healthy. Not necessarily wrinkle-less or flawless, just your own best skin. Here is how I got on with the Tria Age-Defying Wrinkle Correcting Laser over the past couple months!

Brighten Up with benefit Dandelion Shy Beam Matte Highlighter

I remember when Benefit's High Beam was one of the only highlighters on the market. It seems crazy now when brands are churning them out left and right. High Beam is still a really gorgeous highlighter in its own right. When I pulled it out to compare to Shy Beam I was reminded I need to keep it out for Spring. Dandelion Shy Beam Nude-Pink Radiance Highlighter is the newest addition to the dandelion lineup. What caught my eye about Shy Beam is that instead of being a typical shimmering highlight this one is matte. Why would anyone want a matte highlight? A matte brightener can do wonders at brightening up the face with out turning you in to a disco ball.
