"Monroe Misfit" is something I randomly came up with one day while picking a myspace url. Deep right? But I feel it really represents my style spectrum, both personally and in makeup. Monroe is classic glamour, femininity, "beauty" while Misfit is the disturbingly different, edgy, punk, not afraid to NOT fit in side. "The Misfits" was also Marilyn's last movie before her untimely death. The "makeup" was an afterthought. So where are we going with this? I decided to do a look representing the two sides. I took inspo from the misfit's skull & classic pin up makeup. For a more final version I'd block out the brows and get more detailed with the teeth/shading. I know a lot of you asked me about this look throughout the years, so hopefully posting the photo's & product listing now will be of help if you want to re-create something like it for Halloween!
